It is with great joy that I share this momentous milestone for Mission Zambia Stake Pool. When I first envisioned our pool, the goal was always to go beyond just participating in the Cardano blockchain—I wanted to make a real difference in our community. Today, we take a significant step in that direction.
Our Mission in Action
From the start, I committed 40% of our pool earnings to help orphaned children in Lusaka, Zambia. Despite not yet minting a block, our mission remains strong thanks to the unwavering support of our 8 loyal delegators, who have collectively staked 11,830₳ to Mission Zambia Stake Pool (#ZAM). Your dedication keeps us going, and for that, I am deeply grateful.
As a token of appreciation, and in line with our mission, we’ve made our first charitable donation. After researching local needs, I discovered a small orphanage in Lusaka’s Garden township. The boys at this masjid live with very limited resources, and their greatest need was clear: beds. Most sleep on mattresses or beddings laid directly on the concrete floor.
Our First Donation: A Small Step, A Giant Leap
In response, we’ve donated our first steel bunk bed to the orphanage—a modest yet significant contribution. The bed is already in use, and the boys who received it are incredibly grateful for your support. This is just the beginning of our efforts to ensure that each of these boys has a proper place to sleep.
